As a Year 13 member of the Palmerston North Boys High School Hostel, College House, I was offered the position of serving as one of the 7 hostel prefects for 2019. These prefects are responsible for the mannered and reasonable operation of the hostel throughout the school year. They carry with them a prestige within the hostel and work closely to integrate the Year 9 cohort into the ‘College House lifestyle’.

I look forward to the challenges and personal learning that I can find over my tenure as a prefect in 2019.
