First placing in the club debating competition, ‘Shand Shield’. Each club (of which there are 6) submits a team and they compete in a ladder format to decide point allocations. Achieved first place with my team which I have have mentored since 2016.

• In 2015 (without me as a member of the team) this team achieved 6th.
• In 2016 (with me a new member and me as a mentor), this team achieved 2nd after losing a tough last battle.
• In 2017 (with my second year of team mentoring and competing), this team achieved 1st after crushing through the previous years defeat.
